Greg Wolek graduated from Delaware Valley in 1983 with a Bachelor's of Science in Ornamental Horticulture. After years of working and continuous study under others, he finally followed his dream and opened his own business, Wolek's Garden Service. Greg has taught courses for the Rutgers University Master Gardener's Program, giving lectures and demonstrations. Although he's the designer, you'll typically find Greg on his hands and knees beside his staff in clients' gardens making sure everything is done right.
Greg's wife, Michelle, is a nurse by trade, but she can make a one heck of a wedding arrangement! When they met, Greg's overwhelming passion for horticulture drew her into the business as well. If you're looking for Michelle, chances are, she's in the stand designing wreaths and chatting with the visitors.
The happy couple currently resides in Allenwood, NJ. In their "spare" time, you'll often find them in a garden. Whether they're at Longwood Gardens studying plants and design concepts or Chanticleer's, they never weary of the beauty of creation.
Wolek's Garden Service began operations 1991 in New Jersey. Initially, Greg did everything from initial design to the full execution of each garden himself. More than fifteen years later, Greg now has a regular staff to help him with the labor, but he still does all the garden designs himself.
Wolek's is registered with the state of New Jersey.
Stop by to say hello- We look forward to seeing you!
